NO DISRESPECT intended but shopkeepers in Taiping are still displaying the photographs of former Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohd Tajol Rosli Ghazali alongside those of the King, the Queen and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Restaurant manager Ameer Ali said he was aware of the change in the state leadership following the outcome of the general election.
“However, we have yet to receive photographs of the new Perak Mentri Besar Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin,” he said.
A check at the Taiping Municipal Council showed that photographs of Tajol Rosli had been removed but yet to be replaced.

Council secretary Shahrom Datuk Abdul Malek said he had yet to receive the new Mentri Besar's photographs.
